Who We Are

TDAR LTD was founded by photographer Tom Rothery. Tom started his career as assistant to architectural photographer Timothy Soar, photographing buildings around the world for some of this country’s greatest architects over a three year period. It was in this time that he developed his eye for composition and understanding of how to capture many different types of spaces, but most importantly translating client briefs into photographic form. The following two years, he entered the world of property photography and noticed the huge chasms that existed within the companies working for estate agents. With congested diaries and a lot of middle men, it was vastly different to the world of freelancing as an architectural photographer that he was used to.

It was then that Tom decided to form TDAR LTD, a company that would bring about the benefits and disciplines from high end architectural photography and mix them with the fast turn-around, budget friendly, all-weather world of property photography. A new way of doing things that consistently provides a better product for our agents, increasing their chance of making the sales over rival companies.
